Agricultural Expansion and Prime Location for Cultivation

In response to rising global demand, Jiangsu Baotianxia has expanded its operations beyond frozen food manufacturing to include large-scale, eco-conscious agriculture. As of 2023, we have developed a 5,000-acre cultivation base near our facility in Baoying, Jiangsu Province. This base supports the year-round production of nutrient-rich green vegetables such as shepherd’s purse and leeks — key ingredients in many of our signature products. In addition to land-based crops, we also manage over 500 acres of freshwater ponds, where we cultivate lotus roots and sustainably farm shrimp and crabs, supporting diverse supply chain needs.

Our facility’s location in Baoying, part of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Triangle, offers optimal natural conditions for agriculture. The region is recognized as a national grain production hub, cultivating more than 1.7 million acres of rice and wheat annually. It is also home to over 100,000 acres of premium rapeseed, contributing to an impressive 900,000 tons of high-quality grain output each year. Baoying is officially designated as a “Special Wheat Advantage Area” in central Jiangsu, serving as a key supplier for leading flour manufacturers throughout China.
