Our story begins with Zhang Niancheng, who spent years working inside one of China’s leading frozen food companies. While there, he learned the craft of making steamed buns, rice cakes, and other traditional favorites at scale — but he also saw how much room there was to do better. Better ingredients. Better consistency. Better care for the people who would eventually enjoy these foods.
So, he set out on his own. In Ningxia, China, he established a new manufacturing facility with a small team and a big vision: to make authentic Chinese comfort foods accessible globally without compromising on tradition or quality.
Today, Frozen Asian Imports acts as the bridge — connecting Zhang's manufacturing roots in China with distributors and supermarkets abroad. Our role is simple: handle the exporting, the certifications, and the logistics so our partners can focus on what they do best — getting great food to customers.
