Product Description:
This sweet steamed cake rises in delicate, fluffy layers that gently pull
apart with ease. Lightly sweetened and studded with plump raisins, it offers a moist, cloud-like texture that melts in your mouth. It’s a nostalgic specialty treat for many in the Jiangsu region, with a naturally soft structure that makes it both comforting and refined.

dihydrogen phosphate, sodium bicarbonate, disodium dihydrogen
pyrophosphate, starch)

Heating Instructions:​
Keep frozen until ready to heat. For best results, follow one of the methods below:

Steaming (Recommended):
1. Add water to pot/wok (keep water level ≥2.5" below steamer tray to avoid splashing). Bring to full boil over high heat.  
2. Place the Thousand-Layer Steamed Cake on a lined steamer tray (use parchment or damp food-grade cloth to prevent sticking).  
3. Steam covered 12~15 min at medium~high, maintaining a strong boil.  
4. Turn off heat and let sit 1~2 minutes covered before serving.

**Microwave – Quick (1000W):**  
1. Place the Thousand-Layer Steamed Cake on microwave~safe plate/tray. Line with parchment/damp cloth to prevent sticking.  
2. Lightly spray/sprinkle water over buns.  
3. Cover with a Vented lid OR microwavable plastic wrap (poke holes)** OR damp food cloth.  
4. Microwave 2~4 min. Adjust time as needed. For best taste, avoid over-microwaving. If unsure, start low and add more time. Rest 1 min before serving. 

Microwave – Preferred (500W + Steamer):
1. Add a thin layer of water to the base of your microwaveable steamer. 
2. Place the Thousand-Layer Steamed Cake on the middle tray. Line with parchment/damp cloth to prevent sticking.  
3. Lightly spray/sprinkle water over buns.  
4. Cover securely with the steamer lid.  
5. Microwave 4~7 min at 500W. Adjust time as needed. For best taste, avoid over-microwaving. If unsure, start low and add more time. Rest 1 min before serving. 


Key Tips:
► Always vent covers! Poke holes in the covering plastic wrap to prevent sogginess or dangerous pressure buildup.  
► Adjust time for your microwave wattage & quantity. Results may vary depending on microwave brand, wattage, and batch size.
► For best texture: Avoid overcooking. The Thousand-Layer Steamed Cake firm slightly upon resting. Start with less time, and add more time if needed.
► Note: The Thousand-Layer Steamed Cake is fully cooked – heat until warm throughout.
►**Caution**: Hot steam! Open covers away from face.
